Resilient: 250 Years of Ellicott City

In honor of Ellicott City’s 250th anniversary the Maryland Museum of History and Culture presents this exhibition that highlights the evolution of industry in the town over the past two and half centuries. In “Resilient: 250 Years of Ellicott City,” photographs, drawings, paintings, early maps, and objects from MCHC’s collection tell the story of Ellicott City’s evolution as an industrial town and its remarkable resilience withstanding floods and fires over two and a half centuries

“Resilient” is  on view through March 2023 in the H. Furlong Baldwin Library’s niche gallery.
