Benjamin Banneker – Friend to the Ellicotts (Lunch Date With History)

Join Howard County Historical Society at the Museum of Howard County History for this “Lunch Date with History“ talk about Benjamin Banneker – Friend to the Ellicotts, presented by staff from the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum. The historical park, a 142-acre site located just east of Ellicott City, is dedicated to telling the inspiring story of Benjamin Banneker, often considered the first African-American man of science.

This on-going, monthly lecture series series features a special speaker(s) with in-depth knowledge and insight into the topic. Parking is available on the street or in the Circuit Courthouse parking lot. You may bring your lunch. The lectures are free to Howard County Historical Society members and $5.00 for non-members.
